Volunteer Opportunities
Wildlife in Focus cherishes the opportunities to engage in the communities in Texas. We have a small and dedicated staff. In order to accomplish our mission, we rely on our paid team as well as the many generous volunteers that grace our organization. There are ways you too can help. Below is a listing of opportunities available right now.
Volunteer Opportunities:
These are our ideas…Our capacity to manage these positions is limited but we welcome help!
- Awards Event Assistant – Event to be held Oct 3, 2026, help desired to prepare ahead of time and host on event day
- Help with Wildlife Identification and Biodiversity Listing (wildlife in contest images)
- Book distribution from San Antonio or Beeville
- Landowner communications
- Help setting up or taking down our traveling photo display
- Youth Programs: Extension 4-H Photo Club Collaboration, Field Days, Kritters4Kids Curriculum etc
- Basic Photo Editing – Adding tags, preparing presentations for displays, website, social media, adding text for our website and logo when using for promotional and educational purposes etc.
- Fundraising
- Student Internships, Remote is possible.
