Below is a list of Texas photo ranches that are registered with Wildlife In Focus and are accepting photographers and videographers as part of the Lone Star Photo or Video Contests.

Some have lodging options. Some may offer a guide for wildlife photography. A guide can really add to the quality of your photography experience.

Each is a private agricultural/business operation and as such anyone wanting to visit needs to contact them well ahead of the planned visit to make a reservation and learn what fees are required. Many are open independently of the contest dates.

This list is only a starting list, additions will continue to made so check back over time.

The map below is a partial indicator of both Photo Ranches (Red Camera Icon) that are open to the public, and the general location of ranches that are participating in the 2025 contest (Blue Icon for those that already have a photographer partner, Green Icon for those that open for a photographer partner)

This map does not necessarily include all participating landowners as registrations come in more frequently than we can update the site.
